The data
Pigment listings come from manufacturers' published charts, retailers and contributors. We work to keep them accurate but can't guarantee them, and paint makers change formulas. Check the tube label before relying on a listing, especially for anything marked "Verify" or "Unconfirmed". Color swatches in empty photo frames are estimates calculated from the pigments, not photos. Brand and product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify their products; Pigfolio isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any paint maker.
Your account
You must be 16 or older to create an account. Keep access to your sign-in email secure. You can delete your account and everything you posted at any time from your account page.
What you post
- Post only photos you took and reviews of paints you have actually used.
- You keep ownership of your photos and words. By posting them you give Pigfolio a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to show them on the site, in previews of it, and, for photos, as a paint's main picture with your display name as credit. The license ends when you delete the post or your account, except for copies already in backups for a short time.
- If a paint maker or retailer pays you or gives you free paint, say so in your review.
- No spam, advertising, harassment, other people's photos, or anything illegal. Moderators may hide or remove posts that break these rules and may suspend accounts that keep doing so.
Store links and advertising
Some store links are affiliate links, which may earn Pigfolio a commission at no extra cost to you. Paint pages have one labeled advertising or sponsor space. Neither affects which paints we list, how we describe them, or how reviews are shown. Prices, stock and purchases are between you and the store. Details: how Pigfolio earns money.
Copyright complaints
If something on Pigfolio uses your work without permission, email hello@pigfolio.com with a link to it and a description of your work, and we'll take it down promptly while we look into it.
No warranty
Pigfolio is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from relying on the paint data or from purchases made through store links. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date above and tell signed-in members before it takes effect.
