About PBr24

History

Chrome titanate is a mixed-metal oxide pigment from the mid-20th century, a safer alternative to lead-based Naples yellow.

In mixes

A warm, pale, opaque yellow with low tinting strength. Common in Naples yellow hues and flesh mixes.

Drying speed is typical for linseed oil; tubes ground in safflower or poppy oil, or with driers added, will differ. These are general notes on the pigment, not on any one brand.
